Hello, I’m Leat
– a mother of five, a doula and a childbirth educator with over ten years experience, based in Ma’ale Adumim & Jerusalem, supporting families both in person, via phone and online.
I didn’t come into this work by accident. Over the years, I heard so many women share stories of birth that left them feeling disappointed, ignored, or even traumatised. It didn’t sit right with me. I knew that birth could be something else entirely—something powerful, something healing, something that makes a woman feel proud and strong. I wanted to help create more of those stories.
So I trained with Lamaze and Nurturing Birth, and set out to offer the kind of support I believe every woman deserves. The kind that meets you where you are, emotionally and physically. The kind that helps you feel held, not just informed. Because no two births are the same, and no two women are the same either..
My Approach
My approach is rooted in the idea of mothering the mother. I’m here to care for you. To make sure you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make choices that are right for you and your baby. I bring evidence-based knowledge, yes—but just as importantly, I bring warmth, intuition, and emotional presence.
Whether you’re birthing with a partner, a parent, a friend, or on your own, I’ll help create space for everyone to feel supported. Birth is not just a physical event. It’s a rite of passage, and it matters deeply how you’re treated through it.
A little more about me…
When I’m not working, I’m usually with my kids, exploring outdoors, dancing in the kitchen to loud music, curled up with a book, or stargazing at the end of a long day. I love a bit of everything and I’m always open to trying something new. The values that guide me—in work and in life—are kindness, honesty, and vulnerability.
When my twins arrived, everything I thought I knew about newborn parenting changed. I discovered the unique challenges of preparing for – and living – those early weeks with two newborns, alongside the beautiful bond that can exist between multiples.
